This article describes a workaround to an issue in which customers report receiving the following error:

CANNOT LOCATE ENTOURAGE LIBRARY

Generally, this error occurs after a user has installed (or updated to) The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, version 4.0.4, while using Microsoft Entourage 2004. Customers affected by this issue have a number of options/workarounds:

Please note that you may choose from EITHER of the two options shown below; you don't need to do both. Option one is generally preferred because it's simple and fast. Option Two, however, is preferred by those who don't want to have to restart their Macintosh prior to a sync.

Option One:

Perform Sync functions using The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile v 4.0.4, by first rebooting the Macintosh, and then performing the Sync without first opening or using Entourage 2004.

Option Two:

Reverting to The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile, v 4.0.3 resolves the problem, allowing users the ability to perform sync operations with Entourage 2004.

You can find the uninstaller located in Hard Drive\Applications\Missing Sync for Windows Mobile folder. Please launch the uninstaller and follow the onscreen instructions.

After running uninstaller, remove the following:

1. Library/Application Support/ remove all Missing Sync -- if there are any files that were not removed by the uninstaller .

2. Library/Preferences/ remove all com.markspace.*

3. Empty Trash Bin

4. Install 4.0.3 and test again. The file is located here
